On this occasion, the Faculty was honored to welcome Prof. Kikuo Nishizawa, Dean of the Faculty of Policy Studies, Kansai University, as the guest speaker for a special lecture entitled “Lessons from Japan: The Barrier-Free Act and the Spiral-Up Mechanism Linking Participation with Legal Enforcement.” The lecture provided valuable knowledge and insights into Japan’s approaches to developing laws and governance mechanisms related to Universal Design.
The event also featured valuable comments and recommendations from Ms. Areewan Jatuthong, former Acting Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission; Mr. Nattawut Klaikham, Senior Researcher; and Ms. Natinee Na Chiang Mai, representative of the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI).
