Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Analyze and Classify Wrongful Acts:Analyze specific circumstances to determine whether an act was committed in the "performance of official duties" or was a personal matter. Furthermore, participants will be able to distinguish between "ordinary negligence" and "gross negligence."

2. Determine Legal Liability and Procedural Correctness:Provide accurate legal advice and initiate appropriate legal proceedings to identify whether a lawsuit should be filed against a Government Agency or against the individual Government Official personally.

3. Understand Claims, Procedures, and Liability Limitations:Explain the formal procedures for filing a claim for compensation, outline the relevant timelines for consideration, and comprehend the principles regarding claims for recourse against officials, including the limitation of liability and the exemption from joint and several liability burdens.
