SSRU Faculty of Law Holds Researcher Meeting and In-Depth Interviews to Advance Universal Design Research: A Comparative Study of the Japanese Model

On August 17, 2026, the Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) organized a research meeting for the research project entitled “Analyzing Gaps in the Enforcement of Universal Design Laws and Developing an Integrated ‘Spiral-Up’ Governance Mechanism for Thailand: A Comparative Study of the Japanese Model.”
The meeting was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kamonwan Yuwattana, Dean of the Faculty of Law, together with Lect. Chuencheewin Yimfuang, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services; Lect. Phansawut Puchaniyakul; Lect. Wanarat Thongkhanta; Ms. Tassaniya Meepiamsomboon, Academic Officer (Professional Level); and Ms. Temjai Monthaisong, Researcher.
The research team conducted an in-depth interview to gather relevant information, insights, and perspectives concerning the enforcement of Universal Design laws and the development of integrated governance mechanisms for Universal Design in Thailand.
On this occasion, the research team was honored to welcome Prof. Wiriya Namsiripongpun as a key informant for the in-depth interview, held at Room 2222, Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
