| On 15 May 2026,
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the
Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University (SSRU), led faculty members
and students from Institut Pemerintahan
Dalam Negeri (IPDN), Indonesia, in a
Thai–Indonesian cultural exchange
activity through learning and hands-on
practice in Thai cuisine preparation.
The activity focused on the preparation
of “Pad Thai” and was held
in Room 2323, Building 23, Home
Economics Program, Faculty of Science
and Technology. On this occasion, Assistant Professor Juthamas Moonwong, Lecturer of the Home Economics Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, served as the guest speaker. She provided participants with knowledge of the procedures, techniques, and unique characteristics of Thai culinary arts, as well as a live demonstration of the preparation of traditional Pad Thai, a dish that distinctly reflects Thai identity and cultural heritage. In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Kamonwan Yoowattana, Dean of the Faculty of Law, assigned Mr. Chuenchiwin Yimfueang, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, together with Mr. Pansawut Puchaneeyakul, Ms. Wannarat Thongkhanta, faculty staff members, and students of the Faculty of Law, to facilitate and participate in the activity alongside the delegation from Indonesia. The activity was organized to promote learning about Thai culture through food, enhance understanding of Thai identity and traditions, and foster teamwork, communication skills, and cross-cultural learning among students and personnel from both institutions. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and mutual understanding between Thailand and Indonesia. |
