Students of the Faculty of Law participated in the “Constitution Day 2025” activity.

The Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the “Constitution Day 2025” activity.

On 10 December 2025, Assistant Professor Paiboon Chuwattanakit, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, together with Mr. Phatsawut Poochaniyakul, Dr. Denkhun Thammanitthichayut, and students of the Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, attended the “Constitution Day 2025” event under the theme “The People’s Constitution” at the Seminar Room, B2 Floor, Parliament Building.

The event featured a special keynote lecture entitled “93 Years of Constitution Day: The Past, Present, and Future of the Thai Constitution”, graciously delivered by Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In addition, a panel discussion was held on the topic “The Current Parliament and Constitutional Amendments and the Drafting of a New Constitution”, with distinguished speakers including:

  • Mr. Karunvee Prinyanontkul, Member of the House of Representatives, Bhumjaithai Party
  • Mr. Anon Srikaew, Member of the House of Representatives, Pheu Thai Party
  • Mr. Phiraknat Maneewim, Member of the House of Representatives, Prachachat Party
  • Professor Dr. Kowit Puang-ngam, Director of the Pak Kret Policy Institute

This activity provided an important opportunity for law students to learn about the history of Thai constitutional law, gain a deeper understanding of the role of Parliament in constitutional amendment and drafting processes, and exchange perspectives with distinguished scholars and politicians from various political parties. The experience will serve as valuable preparation for the students’ future development of legal knowledge and professional skills.
