Constitution Day – 10 December The Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, commemorates the day on which His Majesty King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) graciously bestowed the first Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand upon the Thai people on 10 December 1932, marking one of the nation’s most significant historical milestones. Constitution Day reflects the transition of Thailand’s system of government to a democratic regime with the King as Head of State, and underscores the importance of the Constitution as the supreme law that safeguards the rights, freedoms, and equality of the people. The Faculty of Law remains committed to upholding the significance of the Constitution and to promoting legal knowledge and understanding among students and the public, contributing to the continued development of a strong, stable, and sustainable democratic society. |
