During 10–11 February 2026 (B.E. 2569), Mr. Chuenchiwin Yimfueang, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Pawita Khakhai, Associate Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance, Ms. Chonruethai Kaewrungreang, Ms. Nichakorn Khonthong, and staff members of the Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a workshop and conducted community field data collection under the Local Development and Grassroots Economic Empowerment Project in Samut Songkhram Province, in accordance with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, for Fiscal Year 2026.

On this occasion, Mrs. Rojana Chusakul, Permanent Secretary of Bang Khae Subdistrict Administrative Organization, graciously presided over the opening ceremony at Baan Suan Sabai Ploenphanmai Resort, Bang Khae Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.

The activities aimed to provide legal knowledge, guidance on area-based development planning and presentation, budget planning and expenditure management, and household accounting practices in order to systematically strengthen the community’s economic capacity. The team also conducted field data collection on Gross Community Happiness to establish a comprehensive database for sustainable area-based development.

The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1: No Poverty; SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth; and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. This initiative reflects the Faculty of Law’s role in integrating legal knowledge into local development and advancing the University’s mission toward sustainable community development.
